Hotel overview

Set within a charming pueblo-style resort, this 3-star property offers a unique timeshare experience in the heart of Taos. Rooms and suites blend southwestern design with modern conveniences, featuring gas fireplaces, patios, or balconies that invite relaxing views of the local scenery. The resort atmosphere is casual yet inviting, ideal for travelers who appreciate a community vibe combined with privacy.

Steps away from cultural highlights like the Taos Art Museum and a short stroll from the historic Taos Pueblo, the location is perfect for exploring on foot. An outdoor pool and hot tub provide options for leisure, while free Wi-Fi and a business center support both relaxation and productivity. The presence of a communal kitchen and spacious gathering areas encourages socializing among guests.

Despite some rooms being compact and featuring Murphy beds, the apartments are well-equipped with kitchenettes, accommodating longer stays and a degree of independence. Friendly staff enhance the welcoming atmosphere with special events and helpful local insights. However, a car might be useful for excursions outside downtown Taos.

Murphy Bed Kitchenette Walking Distance to Plaza Hot Tub Pool Table Studios

“Rooms are small. Murphy beds are what is in some rooms. Microwave, mini dishwasher and small dorm size frig is what the kitchenette has. Scenery from rooms is nice. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Very walkable. Need a car to travel to locations outside of area.”

“I believe that most of the resort's rooms are studios (queen murphy bed), or studio deluxe units (queen Murphy bed and queen fold-out couch), which are clean and well decorated. The outdoor patios are also nice for dining and relaxing. The hot tub is great, and the staff routinely run special events like scavenger hunts, bingo, etc. Also nice to be nearby the Taos Art Museum at Fechin house.”

“For the price, this hotel (in the heart of Taos) beats any rate I've seen in the area, even Super 8 which was awful. Katrina was awesome, gave me great recommendations (Michael's was amazing and a close walk). Alfredo was also great, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. Give both of these phenomenal employees some raises please.”

“We reserved a studio because nothing better was available. We got there and the room was a small suite with a Murphy bed. As an owner, I expected better. We were in one of the few rooms that had no private porch. We called to find out if we could get a better room . They said the whole place was booked, even though we saw very few people there. It worked out because there's a big community kitchen. Also a pool table, games, pool and hot tub.”

“Great service. We really appreciated the staff and their friendliness. If you are accustomed to WorldMark, you may be surprised in several ways. Google Maps gets you to the general vicinity, but the sign can only be seen on the north entrance. The resort is behind the museum. That is the key. We weren't the only ones to turn into the apartments on the south. The rooms are on the small side, with no range. A public kitchen is available off the billiards room, with two large ranges, and plenty of counter space to cook. We met some nice people there. Don't get me wrong, it isn't cramped, but it smaller than regular WM resorts. Taking a step back from that, the rest is, well, unexpectedly delightful. The decor is pure Southwest, and the carved doors mimic the museum next door. It is worth staying here to experience this. It is very quiet, and within walking distance of restaurants and art galleries. Another plus is that it is about an hour from the Cumbres and Toltec railroad, which is a must. Finally, it is a great location to drive the Enchanted Circle, another must see.”

“Very cute place. Our 1 bedroom unit also had a Murphy bed & 2 full bathrooms and kitchenette (dorm fridge). Does have a swimming pool outside, which was still closed due to weather, but ok. 2nd level has a pool table, a public larger kitchen with 2 stoves, full size fridge where you can store your larger food or leftovers, you put your name/room# on it. Ice machines on 2nd floor. Would come back.”

“Beautiful resort, great location, great service. Only complaint was that the fireplaces either didn't work at all or make the room smell like gas. But maintenance said they're being replaced next year. Still worth the stay.”
